Student Nurse Academic Partnership Conference 2016
This conference will be presented by nursing students for nursing students. Students are encouraged to present their ideas, experiences and reflections on nursing education, practice or theory with the support from Academic Partners. Two keynote speakers will frame the day with all other sessions being presented by student nurses. The presentations will be written up afterwards and published as conference proceedings.
The conference will take place on Wednesday 13th January 2016 at St George's, University of London.
The conference aims to:
• Empower students to share their ideas and experiences
• Support students to present their work to other students, staff and practice partners
• Encourage student nurses from different years to interact and network
• Nurture collaborative student-academic partnerships
• Celebrate nursing at Kingston, St George's and Gibraltar Health Authority
• Help students to write up their work for publication in a journal
• Publish a journal of work from student nurses at Kingston, St George's and Gibraltar
• Work with students to be conference organisers and journal editors
• Identify and develop ideas for SADRAS/collaborative research grants
• Identify and help develop students who can be nominated for awards
